Over the years, I’ve worked with many people with severe reactions:
- Food sensitivities
- Multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS)
- Strong reactions to smells, products, environments
I’ve seen people who:
- Used to wear masks everywhere
- Lived in near-isolation because everything triggered them
- Could eat only a handful of “safe” foods
And I’ve watched their lives open back up as we changed how their brain encoded those threats.
I remember one woman in Australia.
She said, “I’m allergic to peanuts.”
I didn’t give her a peanut.
I didn’t touch her with anything.
I simply said, “I’m so sorry, you just had a peanut.”
Just words.
And guess what happened?
Her body started reacting.
Her system wasn’t reacting to an actual peanut.
It was reacting to the idea of a peanut—
to the pictures and memories in her mind.
That’s how powerful your brain is.
And if your brain can create that reaction from words and images,
it also has the capacity to change it.
