“This Will Either Heal You, Or Kill You” - A Transformation Story for the Ages

“This Will Either Heal You, Or Kill You” - A Transformation Story for the Ages

Physical pain is hard to deal with. Once it’s there, your whole life changes. You have to start finding different ways to work around the aches or limitations that pain puts on you. In fact, it’s one of the few “invisible ailments” that can truly alter everything you do.

Because of that, it is so often mistaken for the problem and not simply a symptom of the problem. You could spend your life savings looking for a cure for the discomfort, but if you only treat the symptom, the problem will persist whether you like it or not.

Take Eugenie, for example. I’m excited to tell Eugenie’s story because it’s one that is not only deeply layered, but it’s also one that I think the majority of people can relate to in one way or another.

For 40 years, Eugenie has had excruciating pain in her back. Sometimes it would radiate into her head and all the way down into her feet. On the worst days, she could feel it in her toes and fingers.

She went to dozens of doctors to understand why she was in pain, but no one could give her an answer. On their recommendation, she tried other things to ease the pain. She cleaned up her diet, took up swimming (something she really enjoyed), and exercised in other ways, but none of it would help.

After all of that, Eugenie decided that it was time to try alternative medicine. Everything from hypnosis, NLP, EFT, optimism seminars, Far Eastern medicine… Still nothing. Year after year, thing after thing, it was hard not to question whether she would be like this forever.

Almost at the point of giving up, she decided to give one last thing a try. With that, she signed up for a eutaptics® FasterEFT™ seminar and flew to Greece. This was like nothing she had ever tried before. It was quick, it was easy, and she was finally hopeful that something was going to work.

While at the seminar, she introduced herself to Robert and told him how no one had been able to help her yet.

“Can you help me, or will I live with this forever?” she asked.

Instead of digging in and asking her a lot of questions in return, he just asked one. In fact, it was the question, she said.

“What I’m going to say next will either heal you or kill you… What was happening in your life when the pain first started?”

No one had ever asked her that before. It was something she had never even thought to ask herself.  Her answer…“An accident.”

She went on to tell Robert about a time when she was 13 or 14 years old and fell on her butt while holding her niece in her arms. It was the most horrible pain she had ever felt. So bad that she even lost her voice.

In all of her years of research, all of the times that she visited doctors and healers, she always came back to this particular event: falling. That had to be what it was.

Not convinced, Robert went on. “I’m not asking how you got hurt; I’m asking what was happening in your life at the time that the pain started?”

Her answer was simple. Her father had died. Never had she made the connection before. She knew right then that it was the connection that was missing. Chills ran all over her body.

Eugenie then told the story of losing her father, how that night she had lost control of her emotions and woke up in the morning to find she had wet the bed.  From there, the pain began, and over the years it only grew stronger. After 40 years, it had gotten so bad that she couldn't even remember what it felt like before the pain started. She couldn't get out of bed without aching, or shower without feeling it circulate throughout her body.

With the stress of losing her father, something happened in her body, and she held on to it for decades.

As she and Robert tapped through the physical and emotional pain of it all, she started to feel sensations she had never experienced, and an image of her father came to mind. With this vision, the pain started moving throughout her body in strange ways. It wasn’t as sharp, nor was it as daunting.

During the sessions, she would find herself in a happy state, and the pain would be totally gone. However, when they would come back to her father or other hurtful things in her life, it was as if Robert was pressing a button that made the pain come back. Eugenie knew, finally, that something was working.

On the final day of the seminar, and after a week of working on her pain, something astonishing happened: the pain had completely gone.

She could think of the good, the bad, the ugly, and it didn’t come back.

Success, right? Well… sort of.

Although she was now in a state of joy for being physically at ease, suddenly she felt a sense of grief. Like she was losing something important to her for not being in pain anymore.

It was as if the pain leaving her body was also in some way failing her father. Because he died so young and she herself was just a child, she felt an overarching need to honor him and be loyal to him by suffering his loss over and over again.

The night this guilt came on, she had reverted to her childhood self. When she woke up in the morning, Eugenie discovered she had again wet the bed, as she had when she was small. Her body was letting all of the memories go, whether she fully realized it or not. At this point, she did as she had decades ago: she got out of bed, changed her clothes, and pulled herself together. Only this time, the feeling was not embarrassment or shame; it was relief. Something inside her had been freed.

At first, she didn’t think she’d share that story with anyone, but as she sat at the front of the class, talking about what a whirlwind the week had been, she told it anyway. She laughed at herself and invited everyone to laugh with her. She said she felt “light” by letting go of her fear of embarrassment.

By the end of the week, the pain was completely gone, and the guilt that overcame her during her transformation had started to fade. She said she had committed to tapping into her problems and wanted to continue down this road of liberation.

She ended the seminar on a high note, feeling as if she knew now that she had finally found the solution. Because of eutaptics® FasterEFT™ she can rest easy knowing that she has left her father in peace and that honoring his life without clinging to his death has made her a happy person again.
