We’re detailing the FasterEFT process for you below:
Step #1: Aim
Notice how you know you have a problem.
You don’t need to know what the emotions or feelings are, just notice how you know they are there.
What do you feel?
Where in your body do you feel it?
What do you see or hear?
How do you know it’s a problem?
Step #2: Tap
Use two fingers to tap the following points while focusing on the feeling of your fingers on your skin:
- between your eyebrows
- beside your eye
- under your eye
- below your collarbone
While you are tapping, say “Let it go."
You can also add “It’s safe to let it go."
Note: It doesn’t matter which side you tap – you can do either side or both if you like.
Step #3: Peace
Grab your wrist, take a deep breath, blow it out, and say “peace” – and go to a peaceful memory for a moment.
Step #4: Check
Go back to your problem and take notice of how it has changed.
Do you feel different?
Is the intensity of the feeling different?
Does the memory look or sound different?
Just notice.
Step #5: Repeat
Repeat steps two to four until the feeling or memory has "flipped." This means that a positive memory has replaced the negative one.
How Problems are Created:
1. The Setting
Before you were born, the stage was already set. Each of your parents already had their problems. Your birth and its circumstances were already set before you arrived.
A long-awaited gift to two loving, wealthy, smart, happy people. Or, the unwanted result of a one-night, unprotected encounter between two addicts with depression and debt. Your entrance will depend on the stage you arrive on. It will shape your identity.
2. The Record Keeping System
As you grow, your subconscious mind interprets your experiences and records its interpretations.
In other words, if your parents tried for a long time to have you, your subconscious may think that their attention means you are valuable and lovable.
On the other hand, if you remind your mother of her ex-husband, she may treat you with contempt. If she can't handle her emotions, you may feel worthless and not good enough.
Naturally, many experiences can combine in infinite ways. They create different results for different people.
3. The Execution
Your subconscious assigns meanings to your experiences. It stores them for reference.
This is how you learn to survive in the world.
It is how you learn to walk without concentrating on every movement. It's how you learn to drive without consciously making every decision. It's how you learn to respond to stimuli without thinking first.
And this is the cause of all the problems.
As you go through life, your subconscious refers to these records. It then prompts your mind and body to respond and react.
For example, if a dog scared you as a child, you may subconsciously believe that dogs (or that breed) are deadly.
This will mean that every time you see a dog (or that specific breed), you will feel fear.
Your subconscious recorded that reaction to protect you from danger.
It doesn't matter if today's dog is friendly. Your brain and body react to your old record of dogs. These records are in the subconscious, so we are unaware of most of them. Thus, we may react without knowing why.
For example, you may crave a food you know is bad for you. No matter how much will-power you use, you always give in.
Connections:
Here's an example of how FasterEFT solves problems. Your subconscious would reveal that your distant father gave you $20 in pocket money once or twice. Your subconscious recorded that as his love for you.
This resulted in your subconscious making the connection between money and love.
